Test/Review of Keeppower IMR18650 2100mAh (Black) 2014
Keeppower IMR18650 2100mAh (Black) 2014
Official specifications:
This is a 30A cell, this is a very high current. Cells with this amount of power has to be handled carefully, not because they can explode (They can, but it is very difficult to provoke it), but simply because of the power they can deliver. Up to 20A the cell has about the same capacity, at higher load the capacity drops. This is very impressive performance. The cell can be emptied in less than 5 minutes, without any damage to the cell. Conclusion This is a very good high power cell, but it requires careful handling due to the maximum power. This type of cell is fine for (powerful) drills, but you need a very special flashlight or a you are a "crazy" vapor to need this cell. Notes and links The battery was supplied by Keeppower for review. How is the test done and how to read the charts How is a protected LiIon battery constructed More about button top and flat top batteries
