Test/review of Murata US18650VTC4 2100mAh (Green)
Murata US18650VTC4 2100mAh (Green)
Official specifications:
This is a rather old cell, I have a datasheet from 2012 (Sony brand), but this cell has obvious been manufactured after Murata bought Sonys LiIon cell division. It is designed for high current. The two cells matches very well. The capacity is not that high compared to modern cells, but it can deliver a lot of current. Conclusion This is a very good cell for high current, but not the only 18650, some 2600mAh can also deliver this much current. Notes and links The batteries was supplied by Vapcell for review. How is the test done and how to read the charts How is a protected LiIon battery constructed More about button top and flat top batteries Graphical comparison to 18650 and other batteries Table with all tested LiIon batteries
